Tawe River Navigation.

National Waterfront Museum

The Community Boat will be based right outside the new National Waterfront Museum.

The City and County of Swansea has made available the landing stage alongside the floating exhibits.

There is disabled access to the landing stage. It is a secure but high profile location.

The new National Waterfront Museum is nearby.

The Swansea Community Boat is set to become a major tourist attraction, generating revenue to make the project sustainable.

White Rock

The first destination up the river will be White Rock Bridge.

View from bridge showing the nearby Hafod and White Rock Copper Works sites.

White Rock Bridge is just alongside the new "Park and Ride" at Landore.

The perfect location for a "Park and Float" landing stage? Ideal for visitors to the new Museum and Swansea Waterfront.

There are other points to drop off passengers, such as the Vivian Engine Sheds.

Morfa Quay

Morfa Quay - the next destination upstream.

It is worth a visit and is in reasonable condition.

To safeguard the historic Morfa Quay, a landing stage could be built alongside the riverside footpath.

Due to the condition of Morfa Bridge, navigation will be restricted for the foreseeable future.

The bridge is clearly in need of maintenance, but is still an interesting structure and will attract visitors.

The Liberty Stadium

Just upstream is the stunning new Stadium Footbridge.

The new Liberty Stadium - this would be an exciting destination.

A landing stage would bring visitors and facilitate "hospitality" trips.

There is more to see upstream, such as the railway viaduct.

The river is navigable as far as the Fendrod and Enterprise Park.

The Swansea Community Boat will enable many more people to access the heritage of the Tawe River Navigation.

Community groups and schools will enjoy the trips on the river.

Taking visitors to the National Waterfront Museum and Liberty Stadium on the community boat will bring revenue to help the project pay its way.
